Who we are
FightOrbit (“we”) provides a combat-sports schedule app and website so fans can discover events, follow fighters, set reminders, and submit tips for review.
Data we collect
- Account: email address when you sign in (magic link / Google via Supabase Auth).
- Profile: optional display name, city, country, timezone, preferred sports, bio, marketing opt-in, notification preferences.
- App activity: fighters you follow, community submissions you send, fight picks (winner + method), Orbit Points ledger, local reminders stored on your device.
- Technical: basic server logs and authentication session tokens needed to keep you signed in.
- Product analytics: app opens, screens visited, and feature usage (e.g. event or news opens) via PostHog, so we can improve FightOrbit. Analytics may include a device/anonymous id and, when signed in, link to your account id.
How we use data
- Show personalised schedules and follows
- Score fight picks and award Orbit Points
- Send auth emails and (when enabled) reminders / notifications
- Moderate community submissions
- Operate and secure the service
- Understand product usage and improve the experience
Sharing
We use Supabase for authentication and database hosting, and PostHog for product analytics. We do not sell your personal data. We may share data if required by law or to protect the service.
Retention & deletion
You can sign out anytime in the app or on the website. In the mobile app go to Profile → Delete account to permanently remove your account, profile, picks, and points. You can also email info@fightorbit.com from the address on your account. We process deletion requests promptly.
Children
FightOrbit is aimed at a general audience interested in combat sports. It is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child provided data, contact us to remove it.
International transfers
Infrastructure may process data in the EU and/or other regions used by our providers (e.g. Supabase). By using FightOrbit you understand processing may occur outside your country where safeguards apply under provider terms.
